Personal Quality 4 ve Lale Mevsimi


 

5 possible courses of action:
1. Lack of commitment, indifference, laziness, reluctance, selfishness = not a well – adjusted person
2. Desire to do as little as possible, without being too noticeable, hope to avoidunpleasantness = unlikely to feel satisfied
3. Your behavior satisfies normal expectations for quality = seldom gives rise to criticism
4. Extra effort, willingness, a positive attitude, integrity, sense of duty = more than satisfy the normal demands and expectations.
5. Idealism, deep sense of commitment, high ethical standard, far reachingsense of responsibility, pride, perseverance, tolerance, respect for others = type of behavior which will make you feel proud.

* Other people trust and respect you
* You make fewer mistakes and don’t have to do things again
* You accomplish more
* People don’t criticize you
* You become better at raising children
* You are a better example for young people
* You strengthen your self – esteem

* Your life has more meaning and purpose
* The quality of your life improves
* Other people don’t have to check your work
* Your prospects for promotion increase
* Your chances of being assigned exciting and challenging jobs improve

 

– How much self-esteem you have is determined by how satisfied you are with your behavior.

– The importance of self-esteem: Your sense of well-being, your effectiveness and your entire development are largely determined by your attitudes toward life: How you look upon yourself, the people around you and the different aspects of life.
– Different attitudes toward life: Positive/negative, committed/uncommitted, responsible for your own life/a victim of circumstance, others are OK/others are not OK, I am OK/I am not OK.
– It’s important to feel – I am OK. This is self-esteem.
– The most effective method for maintaining and developing self-esteem is to produce a high level of personal quality.
– Try to improve your AP level, mainly for yourself but also for the people around you.
– Set personal quality goals clearly.
– Every quality goal is an agreement you make with yourself.
– Working to improve personal quality is a never-ending process-a life style.
